A Taste of Heaven

By admin • April 30th, 2009

A Taste of Heaven is the title of an article that appears in the on-line LifePositive website and it states that it is your complete guide to holistic living. As we have said before, and have also recommended to our Off-line customers, this is one website you should check out everyday to discover life’s gems. The article, said to have been published in April 1997, has six Vegetarian food recipes prepared by Kurmadasa, one of Hare Krishna movement’s celebrated chefs. As such it has earned the distinction of being “heavenly” food. The Recipes are mainly for North Indian Vegetarian food and the generous use of a wide range of spices agreeable with the “spirit” makes the food recipe  distinctively unique. There are six vegetarian food items for which recipes are provided and the items are:

North Indian Cabbage and Peanut Salad (Kobi Pachadi);  Rice with Green Peas and Almonds;  Puffed Fried-Bread (Poori);  Eggplant, Potato and Curd Cheese;  Creamy Saffron Condensed Yogurt Dessert (Shrikhand);  and Gujarati Yogurt Soup (Karbi).
