Tomorrow, April 14th, the Sinhala people of Sri Lanka together with the Tamils of Sri Lanka celebrate their New Year. It is a very joyous occassion for the Singhalese, with the whole country celebrating the New Year in a traditional manner. For the Singhalese who live in Subang Jaya/USJ we invite them to our OFF-line shop at SS19 to celebrate their New Year with us. By the way, if you have been to Sri Lanka, you would have observed that the Singhalese are culturally similar to Indians excepting for their language and food variations. On their New Years day, food is obviously given high priority.
