Did you read the newsreport in Saturdays`s Star about Indian scientists looking for ways to develop spicy curry for its astronauts? The newsreport said India planned to send two people into Space, its first manned mission outside the earth`s atmosphere. The Indian Agency whose mission is to “tastefully” handle the task of identifying dishes that will make the astronauts feel at home as they hurtle through Space is the world famous Defence Food Research Laboratory based in Mysore South India. Well, it is nice to know that Space Research can also lead to the discovery of more palatable Spicy food for the general wellbeing of global citizens who can now look forward to enjoying a moderated lifestyle curry instead of the usual fiery spicy curry.
